The Big Barker 7 is a pillow top orthopedic dog bed made exclusively for larger dogs. To go along with this bed, Big Barker has released a waterproof liner designed to protect and prolong the life of the foam core of the bed 7″ pillow top. A waterproof liner is a great idea to add to any Big Barker bed, just in case of accidents or illness and to protect the foam over time.
The biggest component of the waterproof liner is the material. Big Barker chose to use hospital grade polyurethane because it is 100% waterproof. No moisture or liquid will penetrate the liner, keeping the foam core protected from liquid and odor at all times. Even the worst accidents won’t penetrate this liner. You could pour a gallon of water onto the liner, wait two weeks, and the foam core would still be completely dry inside. Each liner has been stress tested for a variety of extreme conditions to ensure that it will hold up to any circumstance it is exposed to.
Use and Care Instructions
Under everyday conditions the waterproof liner can be machine washed in cold water and either air-dried or machine dried on the lowest heat setting. If the liner is exposed to urine or vomit it can be machine-washed with warm water and tumble dried on the lowest heat setting or air-dried. It’s important not to dry the liner on high heat since it can damage the material.
The Big Barker 7″ comes in two editions, headrest and sleek, each of which comes in the size large, extra large, or giant. It’s important to purchase the correct waterproof liner for the corresponding sized bed. Waterproof liners will only fit the bed size they are designed for, and only fit on Big Barker beds. There are separate liners for each bed edition to accommodate the unique bed shape and ensure a perfect fit.
