The Brindle Waterproof Designer Memory Foam Pet Bed is a memory foam and support foam core pet bed with a waterproof washable cover. It comes in three sizes and three colors to accommodate most dog breeds and a variety of home décor. Key features include a waterproof component, non-skid bottom, fully machine washable, comfortable, and durable. This bed was designed for use in the car or kennel as well as in the home.
Specs
There are two types of foam that make up this bed’s core, memory foam and high-density support foam. The top two inches of the bed are conforming memory foam, which works to form to the pet’s body to relieve the pressure put on joints and supports the pet’s full weight. The bottom two inches is high-density support foam, which works to create a supportive foundation for the pet’s weight and movement. Without the support foam the memory foam would sag and flatten over time. This foam core allows the pet to be comfortable and makes the bed easy to move around in. The flat pillow style design makes this bed easy to get in and out of, which is useful for older dogs and those with joint issues.

The cover is waterproof lined, either velour or Sherpa topped, and comes in three colors: Charcoal velour, Navy trellis, and Red Sherpa. The bed prices vary according to color. The waterproof layer works to protect the foam core from messes and makes clean up easier. Each cover’s durable soft fabric adds comfort to the bed, and matches the home décor as well as your pet’s style.
Use and Care Instructions
The cover is washer and dryer safe and is easily removed from the foam core with a zipper. Some users claimed that the cover was not waterproof, but that the foam core was wrapped in a waterproof covering, like plastic, and was still easy to clean. Users recommend wiping the core cover with bleach and a rag or an antibacterial wipe while the cover was being washed. Reinstallation of the foam core into the cover was done quickly and easily.
Sizing
When choosing a bed size it’s important to keep in mind where the bed will be used and how the pet prefers to sleep or rest throughout the day. Beds that will be mainly in the car or kennel should be measured for their appropriate space. Beds used in open spaces can vary in size and should be chosen specific to the pet’s sleeping preference. Measure the dog from rump to nose and add 10 inches to get the best fit for your pet. Many dogs found this bed to be very comfortable, and the flat pillow style design makes it easy for dogs to access no matter where the bed is stored.
