Specs

The cover is waterproof on all sides. The fabric itself is waterproof, and it has a leakproof coating on the inside, so urine and other liquids cannot soak into the foam. That makes it useful for potty-training puppies and senior dogs prone to accidents, the same reasons we recommended a liner for the Big Barker.

It is made from a dense Oxford weave that is lighter and softer than ordinary Oxford fabric but still stands up to scratching and wear. A long zipper makes it easy to get the cover on and off. A flap over the zipper helps stop liquid from seeping in, and an auto-lock slider keeps dogs from unzipping it.

Use and Care Instructions

Pet hair, dirt and crumbs do not stick to the smooth surface, and spills stay on top, so most messes wipe off without a full wash. When it does need washing, it can go in the washing machine. Pawfinity says it will not wrinkle, fade or lose its waterproofing after repeated washes.

You can also stuff it with old blankets or foam to make a temporary bed for travel or a visiting dog.

Sizing

This is the large size, 34” x 22” x 3.5”, made to fit a 36” crate pad. Other sizes are listed for dogs from 5 to 150 lbs.

Measure your current bed’s length, width and thickness, and choose a cover that matches. A cover that is too loose bunches up, and one that is too tight strains the zipper.
