Serta Cuddler Dog Bed Review

The Serta Cuddler dog bed has a unique cuddler design with tall bolster style pillow walls to give your dog a sense of security and comfort. This bed is ideal for dogs that like to sleep in a curled position. Serta has updated the bed since we first reviewed it, so this review now reflects the current model.

Specs

The core is thick convoluted (egg crate style) orthopedic foam, which Serta compares to the foam in a human mattress. It supports the joints and lets air flow through. Every Serta pet bed is CertiPUR-US certified.

The walls are soft and supportive and wrap around the dog, which helps dogs that like to curl up feel secure. The sleep surface is a two-tone quilted plush, and the bed comes in several colors.

Use and Care Instructions

The current model is easier to clean than the one we first reviewed. Once the foam is removed from its zippered chamber, the entire bed can go in the washer. Serta beds are assembled in North America and ship compressed to cut down on packaging, so give the foam time to expand after unpacking.

Sizing

The large size measures 34” x 25” x 10” and is listed for medium and large dogs. An X-Large is also available at 44” x 30” x 10”.

It is still a bed for dogs that love to curl up. Dogs that stretch out won’t have enough space between the walls. Smaller dogs really enjoy the large size, and a blanket can fill some of the empty space. In homes with multiple smaller dogs, this bed is perfect for snuggling and cuddling together.
