Serta Cuddler Dog Bed Review

By Jill Henderson

Serta Cuddler Orthopedic Dog bed

The Serta Cuddler dog bed has a unique cuddler design with tall bolster style pillow walls to give your dog a sense of security and comfort. This bed is ideal for dogs that like to sleep in a curled position, providing support with the orthopedic egg crate foam core. Dogs both large and small enjoy time in this bed and many prefer this to their human’s bed or couch.

Specs

The core of this bed is a three-inch layer of advanced orthopedic egg crate foam. This design provides pressure-relieving comfort and added support. The Cuddler is designed with pillow-like walls for added comfort. These high bolsters are plush and help to envelope your dog to provide a sense of security. Bolsters are also great for providing support in a variety of sleep positions, and can help dogs that like to curl up and sleep feel more comfortable. The foam core and high walled cuddler bolsters work to help dogs feel pampered and protected.

Use and Care Instructions

The easy care cover zips off for laundering. There is a zipper on the bottom to remove the orthopedic foam core, and zippers for the sides to remove the bolsters. The cover is machine washable and dryable per the care instructions. Users have found that this cover washes well but can be tricky to put back together after a washing. The bolster proves to be the trickiest but can be reinstalled with some effort. This bed comes in a grey exterior with a tan interior.

Sizing

This bed measures 34” x 24” x 10” with inner sleep dimensions of 24” x 16”. Large and small dogs have found comfort and enjoyment in this bed, and many prefer this bed to their human’s bed or couch. The bed is on the larger side, but smaller dogs really enjoy it. A blanket can be added to fill some of the empty space as well as add comfort. It’s definitely a bed for dogs that love to curl up, those that stretch out won’t have enough space. Users have found that it’s not really a bed for dogs over 65 pounds given the design, but 35 pound mix breeds enjoy it more than another other piece of furniture in the house. In homes with multiple smaller dogs this bed is perfect for snuggling and cuddling together. There’s enough room for each dog to sleep solo or curl up together.
